Tate is a dark, luminous original painting alive with tension and mystery. Two figures emerge from a deep black ground — rendered in warm golds, burnt oranges, and iridescent teals — surrounded by scattered red forms that drift like petals or embers through the air. Below them, a small solitary blue figure stands at the edge of a mossy earth, looking up. The scale between the figures creates a sense of myth, memory, or dream.
